The Brighton Family Collective
Supporting your independence
We are a local family and collective of caring, compassionate individuals, bringing together a diverse range of skills, creative passions, and life experiences. We understand that sometimes a little extra support can make all the difference, and we are passionate about building genuine, meaningful connections with the people we support.
Through relaxed, reliable, and responsive companionship, we provide personalised support that empowers individuals to maintain their independence, build confidence, and continue living life in a way that feels comfortable, fulfilling, and true to themselves. Our approach is centred on kindness, dignity, choice, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel valued, connected, and supported.
There can be no personal care or medication administration. We can only remind you to take your medication. We have all had enhanced DBS checks.
Wellness support
We take the time to get to know you as an individual—your interests, hobbies, passions, and the activities that bring you joy. We want to understand what helps you feel happy, calm, and fulfilled, from your favourite foods and daily routines to the people and relationships that matter most to you.
Everyone's needs are unique, which is why our support is tailored around you. Whether you would like companionship to attend appointments, support to visit friends and family, assistance with shopping, opportunities to enjoy new experiences, or simply the comfort of having a favourite meal prepared in your own home, we are here to help you live life in a way that feels meaningful, enjoyable, and empowering.
Creative experiences
If life feels more difficult than you would like it to be, and your world has become smaller or more limited, we are here to meet you exactly where you are, without judgement or expectation.
We understand that taking the first step can sometimes feel overwhelming. That's why our approach is gentle, flexible, and led by you. Whether you would like someone to sit alongside you while you watch your favourite television programme, share a conversation over a cup of tea, play a game together, or simply enjoy some company, we can provide a supportive and caring presence.
We believe that meaningful connection often begins with small moments, and together we can explore ways to bring more comfort, confidence, enjoyment, and independence into your life.
While we are not trained counsellors and cannot provide crisis or therapeutic support, we are a caring family-led team committed to offering companionship, practical support, and genuine human connection.
Meeting you where you are
Meaningful creative experiences tailored to individual interests, from art, floristry, and crafts to gardening projects and visits to local exhibitions, galleries, and art shows.

How it works
How Our Visits Work
We structure our support into 2 to 3-hour slots. We find this provides the perfect balance—giving your loved one plenty of time to relax into the visit without feeling rushed, while ensuring we can fully engage in the day’s activities or meal preparation.
To maintain high energy and fresh engagement, our visits are capped at 3 hours. If you require support for a longer day, you are welcome to book two slots back-to-back. To give you the best of our collective, the afternoon session will be covered by a different member of our family team, bringing a new dynamic, skill set, and fresh focus to the day.
Please note: Exceptions can be made by prior arrangement for longer events, such as medical appointments or special days out.
Our Services & Transparent Pricing
We believe in unhurried, high-quality care that fits the natural rhythm of your day. We do not offer rushed 30-minute check-ins. Instead, our visits are structured into dedicated 2 - 3 hour blocks to ensure your loved one has the time to relax, connect, and enjoy the activity of the day.🌟
Standard Support Block Rate: £28.00 per hour
Total per session (2 hours): £56.00
Total per session (3 hours): £84.00
Best for: Meal preparation (food is not supplied by us) and cooking, creative art or floristry projects (flowers cost extra), local outings, gentle wellness walks, meaningful companionship and supportive conversations.
What's included: A full 2 - 3 hour unhurried visit, all shared daily care notes, and continuous collaboration across our family collective.
Flexibly Structuring Your Day
The Midday Block (10:30 am – 1:30 pm): Perfect for morning wellness checks, gentle activities, and a fresh, scratch-cooked lunch.
The Afternoon Block (1:30 pm – 4:30 pm): Ideal for creative art projects, local Brighton beach or park outings, and preventing late-afternoon isolation.
Full-Day Circle of Support (10:30 am – 4:30 pm): You can book both blocks for a seamless 6-hour day.
To keep energy levels high and interactions fresh, a different member of our collective will step in for the afternoon block, bringing a brand-new dynamic and skill set to the day.
Note: Special arrangements and bespoke pricing can be made for longer commitments, such as medical appointments or extended day trips.
